Beginning in 2026, Food Justice NW Aurora will be constructing Aurora’s first community greenhouse! One of FJNWA’s pillars is increasing local food production, and the greenhouse project is a central component of that work. Our goal is to build and sustain the community greenhouse and establish a hub for urban food production and education. With support from partners and residents, this greenhouse will provide affordable plant starts, community workshops, and job training opportunities year-round.

Colorado Gives Day is December 9th!

Colorado Gives Day is a movement to encourage people statewide to contribute to the causes they care about. For this Colorado Gives Day, we have launched a campaign to support the construction and sustainment of this community greenhouse, and we hope you will join us!

With your help, we can continue our greenhouse project in this community, creating a unique opportunity to grow food more accessible for residents and reduce reliance on external food systems.

Help us reach our $2,500 goal through a one-time or recurring contribution!
